Recurrence of Traditional Symbols Reformation of Modernized Design
Different from the traditional Chinese architectures which have high space, profound depth, symmetric layout and wooden decorative materials, the modern Chinese-style architectures are reformed from the aspects of architectural façade, spatial scale and landscape planning. The spatial relation of the architecture is rearranged, developed and innovated according to the modern household. Based on the situation of the modern families’ relationships with the exterior world, the functional lines of the residences are enriched. For example, rest area for visitors is increased and enlarged, the owners and the visitors are separated. In addition, in order to satisfy the land utilization of modern families, the traditional single-axial architectural layout is reformed to reproduce the traditional architectural image of profound yards.

Transplantation of the Façade Symbols Improvement of the Architectural Details
Currently, the Mediterranean-style architectures have become symbols of mansions and represent living quality. The architectural façade abandons the ostentatious stone but transplants the most typical colors of Mediterranean style. Red tiles and yellow walls bring a pristine sense integrating with nature. In the architectural details, typical elements like spiral accessories and decorative small windows prevail everywhere. Balconies and pillars among windows are all decorated with spiral iron decorations. The architectural hollows, rain galleries and antirusting ironworks adopt decorative small windows.
